If I can make California’s budget work by drinking barleywine, I’ll do another round. Taking one for the team, as it were.
Eventually, the state may be unable to pay for cops to go around looking for contraband foie gras and margarine. It would be a tragic blow to Sacramento’s noble quest to save us from… something. Think of the children!
