I fixed the irritating bug in the Pressy theme that made my feeds unreadable from the footer of the main page without manual URL magling, so now those RSS feeds should be available. Sorry it took me so long to notice (I don’t keep tabs on the feed of my own blog). While I was at it, I upgraded to WordPress 2.0.2 as well, a security update of the mighty, many-bug-fixing 2.0.1 which I was also putting off upgrading to. ‘Twas a beautiful day in adminland, aside from the fact that I accidentally killed the last few comments in the spam-crushing rage I experienced earlier… sigh. Mono no aware and all that. The brevity of their existence can only increase its sweetness. Won’t happen again, though.

BDEaston:
“NOOOOOOO! You killed them! Why Colin? Why?” this is what the children are saying in the streets. Do you now see the price of your rage? Understand that you must keep your promise and never let it happen again. It must never happen again. The comments are our future. Don’t let them down.

No, it was pretty much a one-time braino. So many comments, all alike… I went into a sort of fugue… all I saw was the word “delete” in red text on a lightred background… when I came to, I had deleted eight legit comments, bits dripping from my hands. I panicked, tried to hide the evidence, but then realized that the best thing to do was turn myself in and try to face justice for a crime I barely feel like I committed. And I installed a better, automated solution, of course, because humans suck.
I have been watching Eva again, going through pain meds (which I did not buy from an online pharmacy, thank you very much) at the maximum recommended rate, and waiting for my knee surgery to be scheduled. My rage is very great. I anger. And then there are these bots writing that my blog is very nice, with links to the dr_ug s1tes selling ci@lis and perco-cet, or made entirely of nonsense strings but with links to online Pri.losec - who the hell abuses Prilosec? Of course, I thought the same thing about ketamine. But seriously, Prilosec? That’s insane! It’s not even psychoactive!
In fact, I’m irritated enough to blog this. See you on the front page.
